Böker Barlow BFF Micarta

The Boker Barlow BFF, designed by renowned U.S. knifemaker Lucas Burnley, reimagines the iconic Barlow as a fixed-blade EDC in full-tang construction. This version features handle scales made from durable green canvas Micarta. Burnley skillfully blends the deep-rooted tradition of the classic Barlow design with the modern, streamlined aesthetics of his signature Post Tactical style.
The distinctive teardrop shape of the Barlow dates back to English pocket knives from the 17th century, making it one of the oldest known knife patterns. The name "Barlow" is believed to come from a pioneering knife manufacturer in Sheffield, who began exporting these sturdy knives to North America around 1800, where they quickly gained popularity. The first Barlow models began appearing in Boker's catalog toward the end of the 19th century.
In this fixed-blade edition, classic design, everyday functionality, and a hint of tactical utility come together seamlessly. The compact Barlow BFF is crafted from ice-hardened AEB-L steel, a versatile material known for excellent edge performance, good corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. The contoured and textured Micarta handle provides a secure and comfortable grip. A hollow brass rivet, which also serves as a lanyard hole, adds a decorative touch in harmony with the matching brass pins.
The knife comes with a custom-fit black leather sheath featuring an integrated clip for convenient and secure carry. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
