Böker Daily Knives AK1 Droppoint Richlite Redstone

Developed in collaboration with young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 is a compact and highly adaptable everyday knife that can be easily tailored to individual preferences. Born in 1993 in Fulda, Alex Kremer began making knives as a teenager and continues to draw creative inspiration from his many journeys through the vast landscapes of Scandinavia.
His AK1 design features a drop point blade crafted from powder metallurgy RWL 34—a premium stainless steel hardened to 61–62 HRC—offering excellent performance and durability. The ergonomically shaped handle scales, made from Richlite in the eye-catching "Redstone" color, sit comfortably in the hand. Richlite is a remarkably tough, sustainable, and versatile material made from high-quality, FSC-certified paper, infused with resin, pressed, and cured under heat.
With the included Torx key, the handle scales can be quickly removed and swapped for a wide range of alternative versions, co-developed with Daily Customs. Additionally, the precisely machined lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be rotated and hidden inside the handle when the scales are removed. Like the blade, it is made from RWL 34 and produced with extremely tight tolerances. This allows the knife to be quickly and easily customized to suit various tasks or carry preferences.
The AK1 comes with a premium leather sheath featuring a sewn-in Ulticlip. The spring-loaded locking clip allows for secure attachment to the edge of a pocket, keeping the sheath firmly in place while the knife can be drawn smoothly. Handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.
