Nordic Knife Design Forester 100 Elmax Green

The Forester 100 by Nordic Knife Design is a purpose-built bushcraft and outdoor knife, designed for demanding tasks in the wilderness. Its full-tang construction supports a flat-ground, 100 mm blade made from Elmax powder steel, renowned for its edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. With a hardness of 61–62 HRC, the blade offers superb cutting performance even in heavy-duty conditions.
The blade has a satin finish and a thickness of approximately 3.6–3.7 mm, with a width around 25 mm. Its flat grind allows precise carving and slicing, making it an ideal tool for woodwork, food prep, and firecraft.
The handle is made from green micarta with a contoured ergonomic shape for a secure and comfortable grip in all conditions. A subtle integrated guard adds protection without interrupting the sleek design. The knife includes a high-quality leather sheath crafted from 3 mm vegetable-tanned leather, providing reliable retention and classic aesthetics.
Despite its rugged nature, the Forester 100 weighs only about 140 g, making it a surprisingly nimble and balanced knife for extended use in the field.
